STEP 1 - Selection

Visit our showroom to look at different stone samples and see various countertop and vanity installations. We will assess your needs, help you select the type and color of stone that best fits you and provide a timetable for completion.

 

STEP 2 - Estimate

Provide a rough architectural drawing of your project. This should include all dimensions for surfaces where stone will be used, including countertops, islands or peninsulas, backsplash areas, vanities, surrounds and returns. We will develop a job estimate for you based on the selected stone, edge profile, backsplash and cut-outs.

STEP 3 - Verify

A Counter Designs Production Designer will verify all measurements for your job on site. We use this quality control step to make sure your job is produced to exact specifications. The measurements are used to make wood templates for the entire surface area where stone will be applied.

STEP 4 - Layout

Our Fabrication Department lays the templates for your job on the stone slab you have chosen. You are welcome to look in on this process to see the pattern and colors, where the cuts will be made and make adjustments if necessary.

 

STEP 5 – Fabrication

The stone slab is cut with precision and edges are crafted with the utmost attention to detail. Surfaces are honed and polished and the pieces are carefully shipped to your job site.

 

STEP 6 - Installation

Our highly trained installers mount the fabricated stone and seal the surfaces. Customers receive a complimentary bottle of cleaning and protection solution for stone care.

 

STEP 7 – Follow up

We ask you to fill out and return a project evaluation to rate our job performance. Our goal is always 100% customer satisfaction. Finally, referrals are always welcome and appreciated!
